Double braided spun polyester rope, easy to handle, soft to the touch, used as halyard and sheet rope.
Langman Spunport Rope has a spun polyester cover, making the rope soft and hairy, resulting in excellent grip. Because of this double-braided (braid-on-braid) construction, Spunport rope is very flexible and easy to splice. Spunport rope is often used as a halyard line in water sports and yachts, or in its classic (beige) version as a halyard line on tall ships. It is also an excellent rope for use in theaters, for example, because of its soft grip.
