Polyester

Twisted polyester rope

Polyester rope in the twisted construction, low elongation and good UV- en abrasion resistance. For the industry and decoration.

Information

Information

Langman Ropes polyester rope is very good UV-resistant and has relatively low elongation. Polyester rope is used for a wide variety of applications, but it’s mostly used in the shipping industry and other industrial applications. In braided constructions it is used a lot as mooring line and towing line. The twisted construction is often used as halyard ropes on tall ships. In the industry pre-stretched polyester rope is also used a lot as hoistrope. In addition polyester rope can also be used for decorative applications outside, because of the very good UV-resistance. Besides that polyester rope can also be made fire retardent according to the dutch NEN 6065 building rules. In short, a rope for applications where a low elongation and a high UV-resistant are important.
