Information

Information

The original Hempex® by Langman Ropes! Our Hempex® has a better UV-resistant and is stronger than other alternatives in the market. The constructions are 3-strand, 4-strand, bolt rope (long lay) twisted or 8-strand braided.

Hempex® is the registered trademark of Langman Ropes. Because of the natural look, Hempex® is often used as a synthetic alternative to hemp rope. Because it is a synthetic rope, a lot of (decorative) applications outside are possible, where the natural ropes are desired but due to the low life-time not usable. Hempex® rope is used for a wide variety of applications. In the yachting industry and classic boats it is used a lot as sheet and halyard rope. Besides, Hempex® rope is also used a lot for the wind mills as cervical rope, twin rope or bolt rope.
In the scouting, Hempex® is used a lot as pioneering rope. Also for the mounting of hammocks it is often used.

If you need a 100% natural fiber rope, we also produce hemp rope in twisted and braided construction.
