Langman Ropes introduces the rPET Line: high-quality ropes and lines made from recycled PET bottles. This innovative line combines technical performance with environmental awareness and actively contributes to a circular economy. rPET rope is a sustainable alternative to conventional synthetic ropes, without compromising strength or abrasion resistance.
Sustainable energy and production
LangmanRopes produces its ropes in Nijkerk using an energy-positive method. Thanks to an extensive system of solar panels and battery storage, they use only renewable energy. Production even generates more energy than they consume. This makes LangmanRopes unique in the rope industry and contributes to lower CO₂ emissions and a cleaner future.
Sustainable production in the Netherlands
Since 2019, LangmanRopes has been producing rPET ropes in Nijkerk, which is energy-positive. The entire PET rope processing process takes place within a 60 km radius, drastically reducing CO₂ emissions. Approximately 40 PET bottles are reused for every kilogram of rope.
