Mooring line
Langman Ropes Orkava is a polyethyleen rope in 4-strand twisted or 8-strand braided constructie. Due to the special and extra twine on the monofilament yarns this rope is very good abrasion resistant. Orkava polyethyleen is, because of the floating capabilities and excellent abrasion resistance, used a lot as mooring line on barges, inland vessels and in the shipping industry.

Properties:

- Floating
- Very good abrasion resistant due to the yarns with special and extra twine
- Wet as dry the same breaking load

Finishing:

- Buying unit: per reel or coil of 220mtr
- Possibilites making an eye / loop with or without protection, ask for the possibilities

Colours:

- Mint green

Alternatives:

- Duoflex rope, combination rope of polyester and polypropyleen
- Nylon rope, polyamide/nylon rope with relatively a lot of elongation
- Polypropyleen rope, the often mentioned 'orange diy store' rope
- Polyester rope, stronger and better UV-resistant, does not float
- Ocean8 en Ocean12, luxury 8-strand and 12-strand braided polyester mooring lines
- Beaufort, luxury double braided polyester mooring lines
